Create the maintenance reminder.
Choose the property and whether the task is one-time, weekly or monthly. Record enough context for the property team to act. Maintenance reminders continue independently of optional Finance; scheduling a task does not create an expense.
Decide whether residents need an update.
An internal reminder does not automatically become a resident announcement. You can also create an announcement without a maintenance task. Choose the permitted properties, locations or residents that need the information.
Review the message, audience and time.
Check the content, recipient count and immediate or scheduled send time. Do not include a resident’s private balance in a group message. An announcement about a fine communicates information; it does not create the charge.
Keep published updates available.
Future announcements can be changed or cancelled while published history remains. Residents can read announcements in their account. Push delivery depends on supported devices and permission; lack of a push notification does not remove the in-app update.
